Hajime Rising Uppercuts: Unlock the Move and Use C
Select unlocked Uppercut with C
- Acquire the move: Use the skill tree when the tutorial requests Uppercut.
- Practise the input: Press C to select uppercuts, then throw with the intended mouse button.
Unlock Uppercut before using its selection key
Hajime Rising's tutorial asks you to open the skill tree and unlock Uppercut. It then introduces the corresponding practice action. Press C to select uppercuts after the move is available. Left or right click still chooses the punching hand; C is the type selection.
If the task remains unfinished, separate the two possible problems. A locked move needs its skill-tree action. An available move with the wrong type selected needs the correct input. Repeatedly pressing the mouse buttons does not make those two situations the same.
Understand the next Uppercut node as a new unlock
The observed skill tree contains an Uppercut to Full Body Uppercut sequence. Treat those as separate named moves in a progression path, rather than assuming the first unlock automatically grants the later one. A branch can depend on both prior nodes and training requirements.
Use the skill-tree walkthrough when your goal becomes progressing farther along that route. For current practice, focus on selecting Uppercut correctly and combining it with the intended hand and aim. The official head/body controls remain looking up or down; a move name alone does not replace that targeting choice.
Keep the first practice session manageable. Returning to the bag after an unlock gives you a clear place to learn the new input before using it in a spar. You can then add another decision deliberately, instead of judging the move from one fight where selection, hand choice and aim were all unfamiliar.
