Hajime Rising Left and Right Punch Controls
Choose the hand with your mouse
- Left hand: Left click throws a left-handed punch.
- Right hand: Right click throws a right-handed punch; Z/X/C separately select its type.
Mouse buttons choose the punching hand
Hajime Rising gives your two hands separate mouse inputs. Left click throws with the left hand and right click throws with the right hand. Before clicking, select the punch type you intend to use. A right-handed punch and a hook are different descriptions: one names the hand, the other names the selected attack.
Start with a single type selected. Throw with one hand, then the other, while keeping your other choices simple. This is a practical way to learn the input distinction without simultaneously changing stance, skill and target height. When you can choose either hand reliably, use a left hook as the next two-input practice task: select X, then use left click.
Add punch selection and aim one choice at a time
Z selects jabs, X selects hooks and C selects uppercuts. Selecting a type does not choose the hand for you. If you meant to throw a left hook, the type selection and left-click input both matter. When Hook or Uppercut is still locked, complete the skill-tree step before expecting its selection key to solve the problem.
Aim remains another choice. The official controls describe looking up for headshots and down for bodyshots, with middle click for lock-on. Learn the hand input first if that is what keeps going wrong; then add targeting to an action you already recognise.
The punch-types comparison explains the Z/X/C choices together. Use that next when you can reliably choose a hand but want a clearer plan for changing the attack. Keep stance swapping out of the first drill so a missed action has an obvious input to correct.
