Hajime Rising Bodyshots: Aim Down Deliberately

Last updated 2026-11-02Unofficial player article

Look down for bodyshots

  • Target height: Lower your aim to choose the body.
  • Attack choice: Use the intended punch type and left/right hand input alongside that aim.

Lower your aim when the body is your target

Hajime Rising's official bodyshot instruction is to look down. Middle click handles lock-on, while looking up is the separate headshot instruction. Deliberate body aim is therefore a targeting choice you make alongside selecting a punch and choosing the hand that throws it.

Hajime Rising boxing practiceThe ranked fight includes the player choosing body attacks, giving context for changing target height.

Practise that change with a punch type you already recognise. If you meant to use a hook, make sure X is selected before judging the aim. Left or right click then chooses the hand. This keeps a wrong punch selection from being confused with a body-targeting problem.

Use body aim as an option you can recognise

Begin with the target-height action: look down while keeping your existing hand and punch choices familiar. Your first goal is choosing the lower target deliberately rather than drifting there accidentally.

The head-versus-body guide compares both directions in one place. Move to that explanation when you want to practise changing between targets, rather than reading another full overview of the boxing system.

During an early spar, keep the task small. Maintain one familiar type, choose the intended hand and decide whether you want the head or body. Add stance changes and equipped moves later. After the spar, choose the unfamiliar part for the next drill so you can recognise the intended action more reliably.
