Hajime Rising Main Menu: Controls and Interfaces
Open the main menu with M
- Controls: The official game instructions put the menu and controls on M.
- Find the right interface: Use the relevant menu destination for equipment, quests, codes or progression.
Use M for the menu and control reference
Press M in Hajime Rising to view the main menu and controls. That is the starting point when you need a keyboard reference or a menu feature rather than another boxing input. Opening the menu and selecting a punch type are separate actions, so finish the menu task before returning to practice.
The backpack matters after a clothing purchase. Buying an outfit and equipping it are different tasks; the demonstrated player goes back through M to find the backpack after visiting the clothing shop. If that is your problem, keep your attention on the new item rather than revisiting every shop in the city.
Match the destination to your next action
The Codes section is where redemption takes place. Enter a current string in that interface and use Redeem; the Codes category owns the current list. A general menu guide does not need to repeat the same reward strings elsewhere.
The quest interface contains tasks involving sparring, training reps and punches in a fight. The Pro License interface serves a different progression question: access to ranked bouts. Recognising that difference helps you avoid confusing an unfinished quest with the game's ranked qualification requirement.
Use the skill tree for unlock decisions
When the tutorial asks you to unlock Hook or Uppercut, go to the skill tree and work on that named move. The menu is a route to the relevant interface; the unlock itself has its own node and requirements. T is the stance-switch input after stances are equipped, rather than a replacement for acquiring a move.
The skill-tree guide explains how training, points and prerequisites connect. Keep the menu task small: open the interface you need, complete its actual action, then return to training or fighting with a clear next goal.
