Hajime Rising Training Guide: Gym, Stats and Skills
Train for the task you want next
- Choose an exercise: Bag work trains Technique, jump rope trains Speed and roadwork trains Stamina.
- Follow the tree: Training supplies skill points; the next node may also need earlier unlocks.
Match the exercise to the stat you need
Hajime Rising training is easier to plan when you give each exercise a purpose. Go to the gym bag for Technique, jump rope for Speed, and roadwork for Stamina. Weight exercises also develop Arm strength and Leg strength. Pick the activity that fits the next move or fight you are preparing for.
| Activity | Named stat or resource | Useful reason to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Bag work | Technique | Work toward a Technique requirement or practise punch selection. |
| Jump rope | Speed | Give a Speed-training session a clear exercise. |
| Roadwork | Stamina | Develop the stat after struggling with stamina in a spar. |
| Gym weights | Arm strength / Leg strength | Choose the exercise for the strength task you actually have. |
| Training progression | Skill points | Return to the tree when a desired unlock becomes affordable. |
Let the next skill-tree node guide the session
The tutorial asks for Hook and Uppercut unlocks before their practice tasks. Later branches connect previous moves with further goals, such as Alternative Hooks and Brawler. A locked node can therefore represent a different problem from not knowing the key for a move you already own.
Use the skill-tree guide to separate points, prior moves and stat requirements. Choose one goal before training again. That might mean completing the tutorial's named unlock rather than trying to acquire an entire branch during the opening session.
Finish the exercise with a playable next step
Repeated training can leave the fighter fatigued. Energy, Hunger and Thirst are visible city-preparation concerns, while low stamina can also become a problem during a spar. Notice which situation you are actually in before deciding the next activity.
A useful session can end with a newly available move, a completed roadwork run or a clearer punch input. Return to boxing with that improvement rather than treating a larger stat screen as the only possible result of training.
