Hajime Rising Quests and Yen: Choose a Useful Task

Last updated 2026-11-02Unofficial player article

Use quest tasks for a concrete yen goal

  • Recognise the tasks: The quest interface includes sparring, training reps and punches in a fight.
  • Choose the activity: Work on the task that fits your current session, then return to its reward entry.

Open the quest interface with a task in mind

The Hajime Rising menu includes quests tied to actual boxing activities. The opening session checks tasks for finishing a first spar, gaining stats from training reps and landing punches in a fight. These give you specific goals to recognise when you are looking for a yen-reward activity.

Hajime Rising city and preparationThe M-menu visit checks quest tasks after the first spar and city purchases.

Choose the entry that fits what you are already preparing to do. A training-rep task belongs beside a gym session, while a punch-in-a-fight task belongs to fighting. Treating the objective literally is more useful than assuming every activity advances every quest.

Keep task progress and the reward together

Use the wording and progress shown on your own quest entry. After the relevant activity, return to that entry for its completion and reward action. This keeps the task and its yen outcome connected instead of relying on an amount remembered from another character's session.

If you are learning the game, a first-spar objective can fit an opening plan that also teaches the controls. If you are already working toward a skill-tree requirement, a training-related task can give the same session a clearer additional purpose. Choose a manageable objective rather than abandoning the activity you started whenever another reward catches your eye.

Separate yen goals from ranked qualification

The Pro License interface has its own training and ranked-access context. A quest reward and a ranked qualification are different goals, even if you encounter both in the same menu visit. Use the Pro License guide when your next aim is entering ranked bouts.

For a simple city spending plan, keep the reward you are pursuing attached to the purchase you want next: food, treatment or an outfit. That gives the quest a practical purpose without turning one displayed reward into a universal earnings rate.
