How to Switch Stance in Hajime Rising: Use T
Press T to switch equipped stances
- Required setup: The control changes between your primary and secondary boxing stance choices.
- Different task: Acquiring a desired stance belongs to its progression path, rather than the switch key.
T changes the active equipped stance
Press T in Hajime Rising to switch between your primary and secondary boxing stances. Start with the choices in those slots, then use the input deliberately during practice. This is the official stance-switch action, separate from the Z/X/C punch-type keys and E/R equipped-skill bindings.
Keep a familiar punch selected while learning the change. The practice goal is recognising which setup you meant to use after pressing T. Adding a new attack and another skill at the same time introduces several decisions before the switch itself is familiar.
Check whether the real task is acquisition
If the stance you want is still a skill-tree goal, work on that route first. Brawler appears alongside prior move and training requirements in the tree. The switch key is for equipped choices; it is not the progression action that acquires a desired node.
The stance overview explains this distinction. Use it when you are unsure whether the question is what your fighter has available or how to change the currently active choice.
Give both slots a role in practice
Choose one simple activity for learning the two-slot setup. You might keep the same punch type while switching, then add head or body aim after the input feels clear. That gives each change an action you can recognise without assuming an automatic benefit from switching as often as possible.
Continue to the primary-versus-secondary comparison when you want to plan how to learn the two choices. The useful result is a setup you can control, rather than a habit of pressing T without knowing which part of the fight you intended to change.
